On Monday 30 April 2018, University of Liverpool School of Law and Social Justice Banting Postdoctoral Research Fellow Randle DeFalco gave a talk entitled ‘Examining the Relationship between International Criminal Justice and the Rule of Law in Post-Atrocity Cambodia.’

The talk offered a critical reappraisal of the assumption that the pursuit of international criminal law accountability will necessarily help improve the rule of law in post-atrocity states using the relationship between Khmer Rouge Tribunal and the rule of law in Cambodia as a case study.
